Just a reminder that the office hours experiment will begin as a beta trial TODAY from 1-3pm Pacific time.
To recap, here’s how it works:
Every Tuesday (at least until the end of the month), from 1-3 pm Pacific time, I will be in my “virtual” office, which you can find at http://www.formspring.me/vernsanders.
To “visit” me in my office, just click on this link: http://www.formspring.me/vernsanders and type a question into the handy dandy box provided. I will answer the questions as best I can, or point you in a direction I think will take you to an answer. Within reason, every question will be answered, although formspring has encouraged me to just delete inappropriate or objectionable questions.
Can’t “be there” during those hours? Leave your question in the box at the site, and I will answer it during my office hours. You can also click on the the link at any time and find out what people are interested in, and what, if anything, important I have to say about it.
What is important to know: I will only be “in” my virtual office during office hours, so if you ask a question outside of those hours, I won’t answer it until my next office hour. It will be interesting to figure out if this stuff is worth doing/having.
