I have many of those books but could list about a dozen more that really should be on the list. The most recent addition would be the book by Dr. Mark Labberton, “The Dangerous Act of Worship:Living God’s Call to Justice”.
Several years ago Bob Burroughs recommended in MMEmail, “How Can We Keep From Singing” by Joan Oliver Goldsmith (Baker). I have read it three times and given copies away. It is my favorite book about the musical life.
Not a book I know, but if Bob recommended it and you find it worthwhile, I’m sure others will appreciate you letting them know about it. Thanks for sharing the info.
